Building Safety is a strategic priority of the Construction Leadership Council.​

The CLC aims to champion and support delivery of safe and high-quality buildings for those who live and work in them. 

Building safety is applicable to all buildings and across built environment.

This means all must play their part to procure, design, construct and manage buildings safely through the whole lifecycle.

The new building safety regime cannot alone drive the changes required.

Industry must demonstrate leadership and achieve tangible culture change. This was seen in improvements to occupational health and safety over the last 20 years – the same must now be demonstrated for building safety.
