The Home Builders Federation (HBF) are hosting a second free webinar to help the industry to understand the changes within the wider built environment from the Building Safety Act. The webinar will take place on Friday 21 February from 11am to 1pm and will be chaired by Rhodri Williams, HBF Technical & Sustainability Director.
The Chair will be joined by:
• Sandra Ashcroft, Head of Competence and Culture Change – Regime Development and Regulatory Support;
• Gerard Cooper, Head of Building Control Professional Standards from the Building Safety Regulator (BSR); and
• Jon Vanstone, Industry Competence Committee (ICC) Chair.
This online event will allow you to hear directly about the new regime and practical application, as well as providing you the opportunity to ask your questions. This is your opportunity to engage directly with the Health and Safety Executive as BSR and the ICC, as they talk about the impact of the Building Safety Act beyond high-rise buildings. The event will also cover competence across the whole built environment, what that means for individuals and organisations, as well as what it means to have a regulated building control profession.
Webinar registration is available here.
