On behalf of the construction sector, the Construction Leadership Council would like to offer congratulations to King Charles and Queen Camilla on the event of their Coronation, and our best wishes for a long and prosperous reign. As Prince of Wales, His Majesty showed great dedication to public service, leadership and determination in seeking to improve the lives of everyone in the country, as well as the built and natural environments. We know that this will continue during his reign as King, and our industry will remain committed to working to achieve the same goals, and to building a country that we can all be proud of.
The Coronation will be a special day for the people of this country, and will bring together communities in every part of the UK and across the Commonwealth in a day of unity and shared celebration. Many of those who work in our industry, across the whole supply chain, will be part of these celebrations, and involved in the many events that will be taking place in the towns and cities in which they live and work. We hope all of these events are a success, and a fitting commemoration of this occasion.
