Reporting on Payment Practices and Performance

The Department for Business and Trade is conducting usability research on accessibility provision for the Payment Practices and Performance Reporting Service.

The Reporting on Payment Practices and Performance Regulations 2017 (and the Limited Liability Partnerships (Reporting on Payment Practices and Performance) Regulations 2017) require large businesses and limited liability partnerships to publish certain information twice per financial year about their practices, policies and performance in relation to paying suppliers.

Research sessions are scheduled between 3rd and 13th March for a maximum of 90 minutes. Participants will be asked to use the Payment Practices Reporting Service to do typical tasks such as searching for, viewing, and downloading information or publishing reports whilst the researcher observes and asks some questions.

Essential criteria for participation – The focus is on accessibility and inclusion, and researchers would like to speak with people where the Reporting Service is relevant to their role and who match or one or more of the following:

  • Are neurodiverse. Particularly (but not limited to) people with dyscalculia or dyslexia.
  • Are blind or visually impaired and use assistive technology such as screen readers, magnifiers or colour changers etc. when using technology.

Further information and registration to participate can be found here.
