Opportunity to participate in the Information Management “Mandate” Review

A review of the Information Management “Mandate” commenced in 2024 through the creation of a Task Group to integrate the success of the BIM Mandate with the current IM Mandate. The aim was to ensure this new mandate is relevant and achievable across the whole of the built and managed environment both now and for the future. The aim is not to hinder, but to help, making things clearer and less ambiguous. We are now looking to consult with the wider industry and are providing an opportunity to participate.

The revised Information Management Mandate was a key recommendation within the CLC Productivity Report with the initial IM Mandate first called for in the Transforming Infrastructure Performance 2030 Roadmap.

The Task Group is consulting with members across the built and managed environment to collate insights and feedback surrounding the approach, its scope, presentation and implementation plan.

The Task Group are working to launch the refreshed approach and the means for implementing this in Autumn 2024. Prior to that, they are currently looking for people engaged in all stages and sectors of the built and managed environment to gather input as part of the consultation via a workshop.  If you would like to be involved, please complete this expression of interest form.
