Andy Mitchell has sent a letter to the PM Co-signed by all the Taskforce members putting forward a plan to sustain the industry and accelerate recovery of the economy.

‘The ‘Minimum Essential Works List’ and the ‘Essential Worker Authorisation Letter’ are both documents that will be released if and when the Government decides that all construction work should stop. They will be for sites where work cannot be stopped because of their contribution to the safe provision of essential services, their critical importance to the efficient running or expansion of efforts in response to Covid-19 and works necessary to protect the safety of the public or assets.’
