The Construction Products (Amendment) Regulations 2025

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has published The Construction Products (Amendment) Regulations 2025.

These regulations make minor technical amendments to ensure continuity of the current policy which enables ‘CE’ marked construction products to be sold in Great Britain. These amendments are necessary as a result of the EU’s new Construction Products Regulations which came into force in January 2025.

The UKCA mark remains a recognised regulatory mark and provides an alternative to the European ‘CE’ mark in Great Britain.

The Statutory Instrument and supporting Explanatory Memorandum can be found here. The Regulations come into force on 8 January 2026.
