The Green Construction Board’s Resources & Waste Taskgroup are launching their Zero Avoidable Waste in Construction Interpretation Report this evening at an event hosted by ISG in Central London.
The Resources & Waste Task Group has been working with BEIS and Defra on the theme of Zero Avoidable Waste in Construction in line with commitments set out in the government’s Resources and Waste Strategy 2018.
The Task Group has now concluded its report providing an Interpretation of what Zero Avoidable Waste in construction might mean.
This evening’s launch at ISG will include speeches from Task Group Co-Chairs Robert Pearce and Jane Thornback, construction waste expert Katherine Adams (who has led on content for the report), and event host Peter Kelly, Head of Sustainability for ISG.
Next steps for their work will produce a routemap and timeline on how this can be achieved in the sector.
