CO2nstructZero
In November 2020, the Government published a ten point plan for a “Green Industrial Revolution,” setting out a strategy for the UK to reach Net Zero by 2050. CO2nstructZero is the construction sector’s response.
Launched in March 2021, more than 300 companies – from SMEs to Tier 1 contractors via major clients – are now involved in CO2nstructZero and are proactively supporting our work to inspire, inform, and promote industry best-practice on carbon change.
Six priorities:
Using the UK Climate Change Committee 7th carbon budget, we’ve established six priorities for the construction industry to frame the Construction Leadership Council’s (CLC) activity and measure our progress, as we collectively hold ourselves to account.
Click on a priority below to be taken to our Resource Hub. These priorities are co-owned by CO2nstructZero and the Green Construction Board workstreams.
