Approved Documents Research
The Health and Safety Executive as the Building Safety Regulator is conducting research to understand how the Approved Documents for Building Regulations are being used and how they could be improved. This forms part of the wider official review of the Approved Documents (ADs).
Participants are sought from a range of professionals with experience of working in different roles in the built environment.

Call for Evidence – Approved Document A
The HSE as the BSR, has also launched a call for evidence on statutory guidance supporting Part A of the Building Regulations on structural safety (Approved Document A).
This call for evidence is seeking views on areas of the guidance requiring increased clarity, research, or further development.
It forms the first step of the detailed review which will include a programme of work looking into potential changes to Approved Document A. Any changes will be consulted on in detail.
