Stephen is a Chartered Architect with over 35 years’ experience in various positions in the construction and housebuilding industry. He started his career working at a number of London based architectural practices before joining Crest Nicholson in 1995.

He was appointed to the Board of Crest Nicholson in 1999, subsequently becoming Chief Executive in 2005. In 2011 he was also appointed to the House Builders Federation (HBF) Board of Directors.

Stephen’s experience, knowledge and breadth of understanding of the sector, combined with his visionary design aspirations, has led him to become a highly respected voice in the industry.

Throughout his career at Crest Nicholson he has continued to champion the company’s reputation as a driving force in the sector. He has positioned the Group decisively to lead in the complex and often challenging process of delivering environmentally sensitive, high quality, sustainable communities.
